Local energy supplier, Tiger Fuel Company made a $25,000 holiday donation to the UVA Strong Fund, an effort administered by the University of Virginia Alumni Association to honor the victims and support the survivors, families, and broader student community in the wake of the events of November 13.
The Tiger Fuel Company charitable giving program includes a meaningful donation every holiday season in honor of employees and customers. “This year, we all unanimously agreed that we wanted to do something to honor the victims and support the survivors, families, and broader UVA student community in the wake of the events of November 13th. We’re grateful for the team at the Alumni Association for leading the way in this effort. With this $25,000 donation, we’re hopeful that the families of those affected by the shooting can receive the support they need,” said Gordon Sutton, President of Tiger Fuel Company.
