How can I tell if propane is leaking?

Propane is naturally odorless so distributors add ethyl mercaptan to create a rotten egg or sulfur smell. If you smell that, you may have a leak. Contact us asap and we’ll send a representative to inspect your set-up.

How do I order fuel? How do I pay my bill?

We make it easy! You can either call and speak with one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives (434-293-6157), or log into your account.

We know how frustrating automated answering systems can be. At Tiger, you will be able to speak directly with a live representative who can order fuel, process your payment, and address your questions or concerns. Our top priority is to make sure you and your family have the fuel you need when you need it.

How do I know when to refill my tank?

Once your tank reaches 25-30% fuel level, we recommend ordering more fuel, especially during the winter.

How do I add a propane tank to my residence?

resident-fuel Please call our office and we’ll schedule an in-person visit at your home with our sales manager. Upon viewing your property and learning more about your fuel needs, our sales manager will provide you with a quote for installation. With over 40+ years of experience in servicing homes, we can assure you that our sales team will treat your home like it’s our own.

How do I add additional propane appliances to my property?

No need to fret! If you currently have a propane tank and are looking to adjust the size, you can call our customer service team and we can upgrade both your tank size and your account information. We’ll also schedule our sales team to visit your property, as adding an additional gas line will be necessary.

 

I’m with another fuel provider. How do I switch to Tiger Fuel?

It’s much easier than you might think! Simply call our office and we can handle switching you over to our team of trusted fuel providers.

What are the benefits of using propane?

How do I store propane for my grill?

If it’s possible, we recommend storing propane away from the house, in, for example, a shed. You can store propane in your garage, as long as it’s well ventilated. Most importantly, do not store propane under your grill and keep it out of direct sunlight.

I’m digging in my backyard. What should I do about my propane tank?

If you’re planning any projects that involve digging near or around your underground propane tank, give us a call. We’ll come out to your home and mark the tank and gas line locations for free so you can avoid them while working on your project.
